Abby Andersen
Bodyworker
Non-Registered Massage
Abby is a recent graduate of the Registered Massage Therapy program at Camosun College, where her studies included in-depth training in anatomy, physiology, and clinical assessment. Throughout her education, she developed a special interest in understanding the human body from the inside out—an approach that continues to shape her work as a therapist.
She approaches massage therapy with a whole-person perspective, working with the nervous system and drawing on the biopsychosocial model of healthcare and evidence-based practice. Her treatments are patient-centred and aim to support relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness, while also addressing lifestyle factors that contribute to long-term health.
Originally from Smithers, BC, Abby was active in equestrian sports—including eventing, dressage, and hunter/jumper disciplines—as well as track & field, volleyball, and basketball. Her own experience recovering from a torn ACL sparked her interest in healthcare and ultimately led her to pursue massage therapy, where she found a passion for helping others create meaningful and lasting change in their well-being.
When she’s not in the clinic, Abby enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dog, working with horses, knitting, painting, sculpting, and discovering new local cafés. Abby is excited to continue growing as a massage provider and looks forward to supporting clients on their unique health journeys.

Emily Winder, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Emily recently graduated from the massage therapy program at Camosun College. During her studies, she developed a particular interest in pain science, neurodegenerative conditions, and fascial anatomy.
Emily’s treatment style emphasizes client comfort and open communication, ensuring that each session is tailored to individual needs. She uses moderately firm to deep pressure, working with the resistance of the tissue to relieve tension. Her treatments focus on addressing areas of discomfort, enhancing overall well-being, and promoting relaxation.
Originally from Vancouver Island, Emily enjoys spending her free time outdoors. She is an avid camper and performs mechanical work on her own vehicles to reach off-roading destinations. She also enjoys foraging for mushrooms, identifying plants, and caring for her small hobby farm, which includes many friendly chickens and ducks.
Creating a welcoming and peaceful environment is central to Emily’s practice and is always a key goal of her treatments.

Demi Palmer, R.Ac
Acupuncturist
Demi Palmer is a Registered Acupuncturist who graduated from Pacific Rim College in 2019. Her practice focuses on supporting people who carry a lot — caregivers, health care professionals, parents, athletes, and high-performing individuals balancing stress alongside physical pain. She works with patients who are often used to pushing through discomfort and are looking for care that feels steady, thoughtful, and effective.
Demi integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine with a modern, orthopaedic approach to pain and nervous system regulation. She has a particular interest in treating shoulder, jaw (TMJ), low back, and hip pain, as well as headaches, stress-related tension, sleep disruption, and hormonal concerns. She is especially interested in the relationship between chronic stress and muscle tension, and how supporting the nervous system can create meaningful shifts in recovery and resilience.
Her treatments are collaborative and adaptable. Depending on presentation and goals, she may incorporate acupuncture, electroacupuncture, trigger point release, cupping, massage, gua sha, infrared heat, and gentle manual techniques. Demi has completed additional training in somatic acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture, and maternity acupuncture, allowing her to support nervous system healing, pregnancy, and facial rejuvenation with the same attentive approach. She also offers scar tissue treatment for a range of surgical procedures, including breast surgeries, gender-affirming procedures, abdominal surgeries, and other post-operative recovery. She is committed to inclusive, affirming care and works intentionally to ensure patients of all identities feel safe, respected, and genuinely seen.
Above all, Demi believes healthcare should feel both clinically skillful and deeply human. Her goal is not just symptom relief, but helping people feel more at home in their bodies.
Outside the clinic, you will find her cycling along the water, reading fantasy novels, or planning her next scuba diving adventure
